It started with a simple personal need, according to Joanna Black, founder of Curating Simplicity and SheWorks Collective. She just needed to get more organized but couldn’t find a simple way to get the help she was looking for. She knew there must be an easier way to get organizers organized. Then she met our CEO, Chaya Pamula, and our Business Development Manager, Carol Gabel. They talked about ConnectPro, Ranked Services, and other work PamTen had done, as well as about SOFKIN. And one simple meeting turned in to an exciting new business for Joanna and a successful, innovative project for PamTen.
On September 27, 2017, Curating Simplicity was officially launched. Chaya, Carol, and VP Solutions John Mendes were among the many guests at the kickoff party.
Many of us have heard the name, but haven’t heard exactly what Curating Simplicity is. Curating Simplicity enables clients to book a carefully vetted decluttering and organizing professional, or “Curator,” through its online booking and support platform created by PamTen’s team. By taking the hassle and stress out of decluttering and organizing, Curating Simplicity helps customers clear their space, free their mind, and take back their time. The company uses decluttering and organizing as a natural starting point to help customers change their lives for the better.
Curating Simplicity will also offer “Betterment Benefits,” a suite of workshops, events and retreats focused on health, wellness and mindfulness. The goal is to create a community that helps customers continue on their transformative journey from disorganized, stressed out, and overwhelmed to organized, balanced, and focused.
As a purpose-driven and woman-owned company, Curating Simplicity will use its platform to help women and give back to those less fortunate. Through a ten-step training program, Curating Simplicity will help women re-enter the workforce with the requisite flexibility required. The company’s Giving Back with Purpose program has chosen SOFKIN as its charity partner.
While Curating Simplicity is currently focused on New York City for its launch, the company is eyeing expansion into other select U.S. markets on both the East and West Coasts over the next 12-18 months.
Gayathiri Mohanakrishna, who led the PamTen development team, thanked everyone for their hard work. “I would like to specially thank Arun, Sasi, Nikhil, Sobha, Prasad, Krishna, Nandkishor, Sunai and Suresh for all their hard-work and dedication. Without you guys, the project would not have been this much successful. “
Joanna, our client, was also highly thankful to the PamTen team. Check out the pictures from the launch and the videos here.
