SheTek is a PamTen initiative to spark an early interest in technology for girls, then mentors them through the transitions into college and then the workforce. It is also to help women in the tech industry gain support for growth and advancement in the field. SheTek pairs talented women with companies who need technology services and staff. As a woman-owned minority enterprise, we at PamTen understand the struggle that women face in the competitive landscape of technology. We want to share our knowledge, technologies, and connections with companies that advocate for the talented women and girls who are the future of our industry.
SheTek's focus is providing women with:
Support for women, entrepreneurs, and other companies through Consulting, Training, and Coaching to help advance their tech-specific needs and careers.
Power through Staffing opportunities, IT Solutions for businesses, Outsourced CTO, and Education opportunities. Efforts are specifically tailored to empower young women through supplemental learning, soft skill training, internships, and access to jobs through the SheTek talent pipeline.
Connections and Community building through the SheTek Community platform, Counseling, Mentorships, and Partnerships with government, corporations, and other NGO's.
SheTek officially launched in New York City on September 13, 2018 with an event that celebrated the mission of the initiative—cultivating a qualified pipeline of women to meet the technology needs of companies. The SheTek initiative expanded to New Jersey in January, 2019, with a Cybersecurity Seminar and launch networking celebration.
