Our Client is a leading data science company that works extensively to provide large scale data solutions. They specialize in providing unique and tailored solutions to better equip their clients by implementing open source data science solutions to solve complex business problems.
The client required a risk assessment to identify gaps in their cybersecurity program and policies and a plan of to address those gaps.
Specifically, our Client required a solution that consisted of:
PamTen performed a comprehensive review and assessment of the client’s security program and policies. Based on the results of the assessment, an access certification template was created to organize and restrict access to the client’s sensitive data regardless of its origin. A detailed risk assessment of suppliers was also conducted to identify possible inventory management risks and contract conflicts.
A formal Information Security Policy was then developed that encompassed all aspects of business operations, including Incident Response Planning, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Physical Security, Data Classification and Asset Management. A recommendation was also provided on the amount of Cybersecurity Insurance the company should carry.
The Information Security Policy that was implemented ensures that the necessary checks and balances are in place in order to maintain the desired level of security required by the company.
The implementation of the Information Security Policy enabled the company to maintain a high degree of efficiency while improving the overall security program.
