Building relationships and helping organizations succeed has been a key aspect of PamTen’s values. That is one reason PamTen is excited to partner with the Girl Scouts of Greater New York (GSGNY) to provide technical advisory services and ongoing project management support for all new GSGNY technology initiatives for their Manhattan offices.

PamTen is growing and extending their affiliation with this endeavor, which will be done by PamTen’s subsidiary, SMACApps.

“We are very excited to be continuing and expanding our work with such an outstanding organization,” said Chaya Pamula, CEO of PamTen. “This partnership and the work we are doing will help the GSGNY to grow and remain one of the preeminent organizations in Girl Scouting.”

The primary focus of this engagement is to identify and define the needs for the rollout of the GSGNY Digital Roadmap. Other key services include project management support for new technology initiatives, identifying security gaps, engaging and coordinating support from 3rd party suppliers and providing technical subject matter expertise as needed. The overall objective is to recommend and where possible implement changes that provide the GSGNY executive leadership team with greater awareness, visibility and control of the Technology infrastructure.

Meridith Maskara, CEO of GSGNY said, “Girl Scouts of Greater New York is thrilled to continue to work with Pamten to improve, fine tune and expand our technology infrastructure. As we transitioned our data of our 32K girl and adult members to a new, custom Salesforce platform, PamTen was essential in managing the project and guiding us along the way.”  She added that, “In addition, they have customized an event registration platform that allows us to better serve the girls and make the girl and volunteer experience with our council easier to navigate and more enriching. The services provided were forward thinking, innovative and they instantly became experts in our organization. PamTen isn’t an outside contractor, they become part of your team. Each and every decision, addition or customization is done with your uniqueness in mind. They prioritize your needs and are always consistent in the level of high quality staff and services provided. We are confident that as we expand our work with them and they become our Technology Support Advisor, they will focus on our technology needs so we can focus on our mission: to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.”

The Girl Scouts of Greater New York was founded in 1913, and is one of the largest girls-only leadership program, reaching nearly 28,000 girls ages 5 to 17 in every zip code of the five boroughs. With the help of over 8,200 adult volunteers, today’s Girl Scouts learn to lead with courage, confidence, and character to make their communities and the world a better place.
